Well-versed in ballet, modern and folk-dance, Dana has performed over 160 roles, creating the original, principal roles in 65 major dances. Beginning his career with the Minnesota Dance Theatre in Minneapolis, and having trained at the Banff Fine Arts Centre, he has since danced in New York City with Sara Sugihara and the Family, in Canada and the United States with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and around the world with Sun.Ergos. He has studied in Italy, France, England, Germany, the United States and Canada as well as teaching both adults and children at the community, college and university levels.

Dana named the company from the Greek which means “working together:, and is it’s Choreographic Director. He is the recipient of two Gulbenkian Fellowships in Dance for study at the Laban Centre in London and the International Course for Professional Choreographers and Composers in Surrey, Alberta Arts Study Awards and a Canada Council Tuition Grant, an Arts Award from Medjunarodni Djecji Festival Sibenik, Diplomas of Excellence from Miedzynarodowe Targi Inicjatcw Teatralnych, Pila, Poland, an Honorary Citizenship Award from the Zupanija of Sibenik, Croatia, and was presented the Redom Danice Hrvatske s Likom Marka Marulica, Croatia's highest cultural award, by President Mesic.

He has worked with Murray Louis, Nina Wiener, Valentina Pereaslavec, Vincenso Celli, Mary Hinkson and Glen Tetley in dance and choreography and Gisela Reber in folk-dance. He has done choreography on Balada Roumanian folk Dance Ensemble and for the Alberta Games Show. Dana is also a certified Brain Gym® instructor.

He has received an award for Outstanding Achievement and Contribution to the Kinesiology Foundation, 2000, and the Classic Lake Conference Award in Fine Arts “in recognition of outstanding accomplishments as a gifted Dancer and Choreographer, and an inspired Teacher and Humanitarian”, 2001.
